Douglas Fir Side Cabinet

Inspired by a Swedish Art Deco model of the 1930's

A smaller side companion to the Douglas Fir Cabinet (6935) the model is conceived with an emphasis on form and functionality, combining modernist and Art Deco detailing with sleek simplicity and practicality. Hand crafted in England from sustainable Douglas Fir, the cabinet sits on a simple inset plinth with an internal shelf, with hand-made and blackened solid brass pivot hinges and latches. The cabinet is lightly oiled to enhance the natural figuring in the wood grain.
