DAY BED

This daybed is a modern take on a medieval design by furniture designer J.M. Szymanski. The marble “pillows”, made with CNC technology, contrast against the handwoven horsehair textile and the hand forged iron frame. Szymanski attempts to highlight these traditional crafts by juxtaposing them with stone carvings made with artificial intelligencE. Textiles photographed made by Alexandra Kohl.
